Regional Team

The Brazos Valley region is a vibrant place for writers and illustrators to grow in their careers. Our region is small in numbers but big in terms of success. SCBWI-BV has many published writers and a few have received national awards in recognition of their work. We are colleagues, cheerleaders and friends on an incredible journey together to share our stories with the world’s children and young adults.

Howdy! Our goal as a regional team is to continue this region's 30+ year tradition of supporting the talented kid lit creators in Brazos Valley. We look forward to welcoming new creators to the group and are dedicated to making sure our region is inclusive and reflects the diversity of our state. All the events, meetings, programs and parties in the region are planned by our volunteers.
