LOS ANGELES August 21, 2024 — SCBWI proudly announces Debbie Ridpath Ohi’s addition to its esteemed Advisory Council. The Advisory Council is integral to SCBWI leadership and comprises committed advocates and advisors for the organization and its programs. It is also an industry connector and conduit for SCBWI and its members.
Debbie is an award-winning author and illustrator, receiving accolades for her books from the Canadian Children’s Book Centre (CCBC) Best Books for Teens and Kids for I’m Bored and Sam & Eva, the Ontario Library Association Best Bet for Where Are My Books?, a New York Times Notable Children’s Book, and a Junior Literary Guild selection, both for I’m Bored.
