What can we expect at events?

As a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), authors, illustrators, and translators have access to exclusive publications packed with useful information about the business of self-publishing, the latest tools for authors who self-publish, guides for self-publishing a children's book, awards and grants to help cover the cost of publishing, and much more.

What about the awards and grants?

The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) offers 22 awards, grants, and scholarships to recognize and promote high-quality children's literature. Grants are awarded year-round to help members complete their works-in-progress, improve their portfolios, attend conferences, market published books, and more.

What discounts are available?
