SCBWI ATX Scholarship

The ATX SCBWI Scholarship includes a one year SCBWI membership and attendance to 1 bootcamp. This scholarship is intended to assist Texas authors or illustrators who want to pursue a career creating books for kids or teens and have a financial need and/or come from historically underrepresented communities. Please note that this does not include the Austin SCBWI conference, but there will be another scholarship application process for that. The recipient receives:

• One year membership to SCBWI (or a membership extension if the recipient is already a member)
• Access to 1 bootcamp (5+ hours of programming)

Eligibility

Members and non-members in Texas are eligible.
