My commissioned work in illustration includes a variety of clients including Translink Canada, Durant Olive Mill, Aniche Cellars, Snowbrush Herb Festival and others. My work has been shown internationally in galleries and I have taught at Wildcraft Studio School in Portland, Oregon. My writing has been published in the literary magazine 5x5. I earned a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design with an emphasis in illustration and a BA in Creative Writing from Western Washington University. I am an active member of the SCBWI. And, just as importantly as these accolades, my day job is at a community library. Here, I spend a lot of time on a bookmobile servicing rural schools, pre-schools and daycares and speaking with kids, parents and educators about the kinds of books they enjoy.
