Come join us! Like the Write Direction, this free meet-up is a chance for illustrators to get together informally and chat, share work and ideas, and make new friends. 🎨 First meeting April 15th.

Covering the state of Oregon, our region is led by Regional Advisor Laura Byrd, with support from Illustrator Coordinator Robin Chilstrom, Co-Illustrator Coordinator Jordan Kim, and an Advisory Committee. As volunteers, our goal is to help our members learn their craft and grow as creators and kidlit enthusiasts.

Each season we feature a different Illustrator's work on our homepage. Francie Towne is featured this winter. She lives in a small, noisy house in Bend, Oregon with three October-loving kids, a nerdy, chemistry-teaching husband and a cat named Figgy Pudding.
