Welcome to SCBWI Oregon!

Covering the state of Oregon, our region is led by Regional Advisor Laura Byrd, with support from Illustrator Coordinator Robin Chilstrom, Co-Illustrator Coordinator Jordan Kim, and an Advisory Committee. As volunteers, our goal is to help our members learn their craft and grow as creators and kidlit enthusiasts.

Featured Tile Artist - Abigail Marble

Each season we feature a different Illustrator's work on our homepage. This spring we feature the work of Abigail Marble, an SCBWI member for over 25 years. Abigail has illustrated picture books and book covers for, amongst others, Candlewick Press and Penguin Random House. She's currently developing picture book manuscripts and lives in Portland with her wife, son, and pup Mochi in Portland, Oregon.
