Come join us! Like the Write Direction, this free meet-up is a chance for illustrators to get together informally and chat, share work and ideas, and make new friends. 🎨 First meeting April 15th.

Covering the state of Oregon, our region is led by Regional Advisor Laura Byrd, with support from Assistant Regional Advisor Lisa Gerlits, Illustrator Coordinator Robin Chilstrom and an Advisory Committee. As volunteers, our goal is to help our members learn their craft and grow as creators and kidlit enthusiasts.

Each season we feature a different Illustrator's work on our homepage. This summer the artist is Neely Daggett. Neely is a children's book illustrator and graphic designer based in Portland, Oregon. She has been lucky to work on projects ranging from polished corporate design to colorful children's books.
