Welcome to SCBWI Oregon!

Covering the state of Oregon, our region is led by Regional Advisor Laura Byrd, with support from Illustrator Coordinator Robin Chilstrom and an Advisory Committee. As volunteers, our goal is to help our members learn their craft and grow as creators and kidlit enthusiasts.

Featured Tile Artist - Julia Karlinsky

Each season we feature a different Illustrator's work on our homepage. Julia Karlinsky is featured this fall. Julia was born in Russia but has lived in Oregon for many years and is a long-time Oregon SCBWI member. And just last month she just joined our regional team as the Oregon SCBWI Newsletter layout artist! If you would like to be featured as our seasonal artist, contact Robin at: oregon-ic@scbwi.org
